Who is Briar and Bramble?
We are Tim and Rob. Passionate landscape designers, gardeners and carpenters.
What do we do?
Briar & Bramble offer bespoke landscape design and gardening services to suit any need. From small clearance jobs, to large garden hardscape redesigns. We specialise in garden clearance, design, hardscaping and carpentry and offer complementing services like planting and fencing.
From start to finish we offer a fully personal service, making sure we know what it is that you want, and bringing your ideas to life.
We consider the garden to be as important as any room in the house, perhaps more so. I offer an extensive range of services to enhance the aesthetic appeal of your property and maximise your garden's full potential.
Whether you’re looking to create a space to entertain or an area to relax in at the end of the day, we will work with you to create a custom, unique outdoor space. In our first consultation we will discover your requirements and needs before designing a stunning finished landscape to suit your budget.
We are based in Whippingham on the Isle of Wight and undertake jobs all over the Island, and larger jobs on the mainland.
How do we do it?
Our process begins with a meeting in your space to discuss how you use, or would like to use, your space. We can then gather all the information we need to start your design. This first meeting is a great opportunity to talk through your vision for the space, along with the specific plants and structures you may like.
If you’re unsure about specific plants just let me know the colours, textures and scale of the planting and we can provide a list of available plants to suit your space.
The design can then evolve in an organic way, with as much or as little input from yourself as you like, until we settle on the right plan for you. You will receive finished plans that you can refer to as we start the physical side of the job. At this stage you can choose your level of involvement. Should you wish to get stuck in we can work together, and we can talk you through the various hints and tips in planting and caring for your new space.

Our base of operations is in Whippingham, Isle of Wight.
